Great works will never go out of style

I have never seen the Wizard of Oz, it turned out to be the wizard of "The Wizard of OZ"/Oz. OZ is a unit of measurement, short for ounce, and is commonly used in the measurement of precious metals such as gold and silver. Eldorado is where the dream scene of the film takes place. Another thing I think coincidentally is that the Emerald City actually appeared in the film. There is a real estate in Yuhang, Hangzhou, also called Emerald City, which was developed by Greentown. It is estimated that the developers respect the Wizard of Oz very much.
I guess it's okay for children to see it. Adults like us can't drink this bowl of chicken soup. This movie is about a dream of a little girl Dorothy, which can be fully explained by Freud's theory. Wisdom, love and courage are the truths explained in every fairy tale. Cinderella also said that have courage and be kind.
What surprised me was that people made such special effects in 1939, not to mention the setting of Oz, Dan Dan is a scarecrow's jaw is very realistic. Great works will never go out of style.

It turned out that I really saw this movie when I was a child, and now I look back on it and the scenery and music are still great. The 1939 movie is already so powerful~~

Toto, I have a feeling we are not in Kansas anymore. // There's no place like home.

The Wizard of Oz quotes

  • The Cowardly Lion: I'll get you anyway, Peewee.

    [Chases Toto]

Dorothy: [smacking him on the nose] Shame on you!

The Cowardly Lion: [sobbing] Why did you do that for? I didn't bite him!

Dorothy: No, but you tried to. It's bad enough picking on a straw man, but when you go around picking on poor little dogs!

The Cowardly Lion: Well, you didn't have hit me, didja?

    [sobs]

The Cowardly Lion: Is my nose bleeding?

    Dorothy: Well, of course not.

    [he continues to sob]

Dorothy: My goodness, what a fuss you're making!

  • The Cowardly Lion: [singing] If I were king of the fore-e-e-est / Not queen, not duke, not prince / My regal robes of the fore-e-e-est / Would be satin, not cotton, not chintz / I'd command each thing, whether fish or fowl / With a r-r-ruff and a r-r-ruff, and a royal growl - R-R-Ruff! / As I click my heels / All the trees would kneel / And the mountains bow / And the bulls kowtow / And the sparrow would take wing / If I, if I were ki-i-i-i-ng! / The rabbits would show respect to me / The chipmunks genuflect to me / Though my tail would lash / I would show compash / For every underling / If I, if I were king / Just ki-i-i-i-ing!
