Watch "Midnight Listeners"

Robin Williams is a veteran actor I like very much. His temperament is simple and kind, but also full of melancholy and sadness. But compared with other veteran actors, it seems that Robin Williams has few opportunities to show his acting skills. Due to his participation in a large number of comedy films, he is almost positioned as a comedian. There is a chance to see a few films such as The Butler.
In "Midnight Listeners" Robin Williams plays a gay radio host who has just fallen out of love, and his life is at a low point. A young boy tells him about a horrific experience on the phone, and he tries to find out the truth, only to find that the boy doesn't seem to exist. And another old woman is trying her best to protect the boy's existence.

The atmosphere was good, but Robin Williams' performance didn't break through. This film further deepened my impression of Tony Collette, she really should shine, and her skillful acting should be recognized by more people. I like watching her comedies, but other roles she plays can also have depth, such as "The Sixth Sense". I hope she can continue to hone herself and take more films, maybe Oscar is just around the corner.
