Living in Reading for a long time, I stumbled across this movie.
I didn't expect to live near Cemetery Junction.
Walk out of Reading from King's Road, and when you reach Cemetery Junction Road, it is divided into two parts,
one is called London Road (A4) and the other is called Workingham Road (A329).
A4 goes to London, A329 goes to the birthplace of the old middle class in the UK and the Workingham area, one of the top 20 most suitable areas for human living in the UK.

In the 1970s, the British economy was still prosperous, and people were faced with fork in the road to pursue happiness. Whether to choose the bustling metropolis, or choose the tranquility of a small town. Poor boys will take the train along the A4 to London, arrive in the city to pursue a new life, and hitch a ride on the ideal way. The middle class would go to Workingham and enjoy life.

In fact, Cemetery Junction has a third way, which is the way to the cemetery...

Cemetery Junction quotes

  • Mrs Taylor: [revealing her eavesdropping] 1964.

    Julie: What about it?

Mrs Taylor: That's the last time your father said thank you for a cup of tea.

  • [last lines]

Freddie Taylor: Why did you decide to come at the last minute?

Julie: Because I think I might be in love with you, too.

Freddie Taylor: No, I guessed that. I mean why did you leave it until the last minute? We almost missed the train.

Julie: No. Thought I'd make a dramatic entrance.

Freddie Taylor: Don't know why we ran so hard, there's another one in an hour.
