This is a farewell letter to youth, no, youth is not over, he will only leave when we give up. Do whatever you want, don't care about other things, before your heart is old. When I hear all the young dude, I can't do it. The name and mood of this song is the theme song of this film! Three-quarters of the film is a bit of a slouch, but it's still a four-star masterpiece.

Nice movie. It is a good representation of the 1970s era, the background of a small British town, where women have no status and men are chasing money. In the end, the little guys all got their own way and achieved their own ideals, which is very good.

[to Freddie, on his first day at work]
Mike Ramsay: When you're selling life assurance, you want the stench of death in their nostrils. You're talking to the husband but you want the missus thinking "Crumbs, Chief! What's my life gonna be like when he pegs it?" Men work, women worry - that's what you rely on.

[Bruce pins Freddie down while Snork squats over him and loudly farts on his face]
Freddie Taylor: That's disgusting!
Bruce Pearson: [to Snork] Not allowed to fart on him now that he doesn't work in a factory?
