change angle

When I was bored today, I saw this movie and thought the title seemed quite interesting, so I watched it without reading the introduction to the story.
The movie is very bland, the heroine's emotions make people feel very depressed, and I have the urge to cry. After watching more than half of it, I thought that this movie would be one of the countless boring movies I watched, and then I heard that sentence, which made me feel very touched. Natalie Portman's heroine Acilia's daughter died nine days after birth, and Acilia fell asleep while nursing her, then woke up the next day with the baby gone. She always thought she had fallen asleep, the child's face was pressed against her hand, and she suffocated to death. But then her husband's ex-wife Caroline (who was a doctor) told her that there was little chance of the child dying from suffocation like this, so the child died naturally. And then my favorite actor, Lisa Kudrow's Caroline, said, "You didn't kill your child, you were lucky enough to have her in your arms the moment she died, understand?"
This is the sentence that touched me. What I have always believed in my life is that I killed my own child, but the truth is that I was holding her and giving her warmth at the last moment of the child. Many times, we may have been believing in some of our own shortcomings, or some bad experiences have haunted us for a long time. Have you tried to think about it, maybe, this is not what you believe. Perhaps what you think is bad is the best in the worst case. Don't complain about life, don't worry about the past, change your perspective, change your mind, it will make your life easier.
I hope everyone can walk out of their shadows. Forget the bad past and change the future.

The Other Woman quotes

  • Emilia: Don't you street lawyers have paralegals?

    Simon: No, friends are cheaper.

  • Mindy: I couldn't find a cab.

Simon: God! I wish someone here in New York would invent something, kind of like a train, you know, that would go underground and take you places. Naah, that's crazy talk.
