deserted island

Following the momentum of last week, I dug out Agatha Christie's "No One Survives" and revisited it. When I read it, all that came to my mind were the pale yellow images of the BBC drama.
The words added flesh and blood to the imagination, so I saw the ten guests with different thoughts boarding the same way, suspicious of each other on the island, killing each other, I saw the fear and guilt tear off everyone's mask, revealing Their ugly souls.
When the shadow of death is suppressed in a closed space, the most primitive human nature is revealed, and it is no longer bound by morality and society. They are either selfish or cruel, greedy or anxious, thinking that they can escape justice with their own cleverness.
In their hearts, there is only a little bit of fear and a lack of faith.
"I believe that there is a power in this world, this power is not limited by law, not attached to politics, it is greater than each individual, higher than the whole society. And what it does is to punish evil and promote good, Let all good deeds be rewarded, and all evils punished." I
suddenly remembered the trial of Zhang Yingying's kidnapping of suspects that I read during the day, and the defendant chose not to say a word in court, hoping to make a secret confession with the FBI The agreement to reduce the sentence, and get out of the heinous crime that he committed.
After reading it, I was really disappointed in my heart, for this system, and for the distorted hearts of some people.
It's no wonder that the desert island that exists for the purpose of exercising justice has no one left in the end, and even the author of the whole farce sentenced himself to death.
