Arrangement of Narrative Perspectives and Allocation of Narrative Emphasis "The Future of the Future" If Nolan is a fanatic who discusses "time" in live-action movies, then Mamoru Hosoda must be a good player in discussing "time" in animated movies. But apparently, this time he was off the hook. Animated films from the perspective of children are not uncommon in recent years, such as "Penguin Highway" and "Fireworks" that have entered domestic theaters. But it's the first time to put the main perspective on a boy who is only four years old, so it's not audacious. Children's imagination and wonderful world view provide enough imagination space for the film, which makes the film enough to complete its wide-span narrative. But its disadvantages are also obvious, that is, the immaturity of the four-year-old's own mental development makes it insufficient to undertake the change and growth of the attitude towards the whole family members. Due to the existence of such drawbacks, the director himself had to give up the narrative from a complete child's perspective, and instead joined the perspective of adults, trying to help improve the presence of other members of the family. But the main line of the story is composed of unrelated fantasy stories that happened to the little boy. In this case, it is even more necessary for the director to explain this magical setting in the perspective of adults. Is it pure imagination? Still a real superpower. Indeed, imaginative children do not need explanations, but the audience in front of the screen does. And such a structure leads to the whole film without a main line. It tries to use various small stories to strengthen the connection between the little boy and the other members of the family and help him grow up, but it becomes a one-man show for the little boy without clearly explaining the setting. The most frightening thing is that other family members have also completed the character transformation without joining the boy's growth process (fantasy) at all, which is not magical. As a result, the whole movie turned into a movie where the audience watched the bear child play dead and play. The father was confused and nervous, and the mother continued to work hard. There was almost no change in the whole story, as if to tell the audience: such a day is not bad OK, let's accept reality. And this kind of life audience has seen enough in daily life, even a single person like me shudders when I think of the appearance of my own master Saye when the bear child starts to cry. Just go home.
