Deep Insights into Women's Emotions

Will a woman from a middle-class family who is not empty still fall into the abyss of love? The answer is yes. The word lust is repeatedly recalled in my mind. In my opinion, no matter whether the heroine admits it or not, there is only this reason, desire and greed.

Some people may say that such a beautiful and intellectual woman has these things at her fingertips, and if it is pure desire, she will not commit suicide at all. There are two things to say here, one is desire and the other is woman. Desire is not only very hidden, but also has many layers. In the hearts of those who seem to be light-hearted, there is also a desire that you can never understand. The same goes for women, there are big differences between people, and even more so from woman to woman. The more a woman who seems to have no desire, the easier it is to be overwhelmed by her unique desire. Sometimes it's not even unique, but seen as different by oneself or others.

I never think there are scumbags in the world, everyone has their own personality, their own way, their own preferences. If men and women match each other, it’s good, but if they don’t match, we can’t call them scumbags because of this. This is a statement that elevates oneself and degrades others, and it is a statement that lacks self-confidence and self-knowledge.

The Deep Blue Sea quotes

  • Mrs. Elton: A lot of rubbish is talked about love. You know what real love is? It's wiping someone's arse or changing the sheets when they've wet themselves. And letting them keep their dignity so you can both go on.

  • Freddie Page: Today, the letter, the suicide attempt? We're lethal to each other. You can't expect a bloke to go on after he's driven someone to suicide. Much as he loves her.

Hester Collyer: Do you think that leaving me will drive me away from it?

Freddie Page: That's a risk we'll both have to take.

Hester Collyer: You're scaring me, Freddie.

Freddie Page: It's on the level. I don't enjoy hurting you, I'm not a sadist. But it's on the level.
