just right

From "okay" to "recommended", it is simply because I like people like Daniel.

Very quiet, likes to read and then have my own thoughts in it. If he likes a girl, it's such a beautiful thing. I didn't dare to approach it easily, as if I was afraid of accidentally breaking it, I was cautious, like a boy. You can talk quietly, he will listen carefully, think about you, and be gentle. He doesn't really care that people think he's not enough...sociable, or that he's not dressed...stylish enough. Outside of work, I still like to be myself in my own world, even if I'm perceived as...not gregarious. Upright, not sleek, not pompous.

This is not a simple romance, at least let me see some realistic things. It's like we can't understand the way of thinking of the narrator in the book, as Daniel said, maybe it's to let us know that other people actually think differently from us. Different thinking, different principles and creeds will inevitably lead to different ways of life. Maybe people who have the same rhythm and similar way of thinking will be "just right", get along easily and easily, don't have to be suspicious and spend all their time, only then will they be happy. daniel is probably such a person for beth.

At the beginning of the film, I feel that Tommy is a poor victim, betrayed by his girlfriend, and loses his wallet. After seeing it, he found that he didn't need sympathy, he had his own way to deal with it. There are always gains and losses, what to lose? Then it's up to you what you choose.

I feel that the second half of the plot is too abrupt and is an excuse for DANIEL and BETH to be together.

The Good Guy quotes

  • Daniel Seaver: He loved her more than anything, even his own life. I think that's what love is. Anything else is just, a distraction.

  • Beth Vest: ...I don't think she's ever even been in love!

    Beth Vest: Have you?

Beth Vest: I thought so, but I think that when somebody turns out to be completely different than what you thought, it doesn't really count.
