"beaver"

It's quite satisfactory, and it can even be said that it is a movie that follows step by step.

The script is about to be dismembered into two linear stories that are not very related, and the connection between each other is too detached.

Mel Gibson is a good fit for the role, but there aren't many surprises, and the other good actors are buried in mediocre narratives.

Of course, it's not that Jodie Foster's directing has no merits, and there are still a lot of fine details. It's just that the original intention of such an allegory does not highlight its special features at all. It is too superficial, and even good Music is on the verge of being abused.

8.23/2011 is too depressing. Is this really a true portrayal of Mel Gibson? everything will be OK, isn't that a fact?

The director is Jodie Foster! The acting of the male and female protagonists adds two stars. When I saw the beaver, I thought of the ad "Where's the light from!"

The Beaver quotes

  • Porter Black: Tagging? Like... like graffiti tagging?

Norah: More like art. It was just... illegal.

  • [first lines]

Walter Black: This is a picture of Walter Black, a hopelessly depressed individual. Somewhere inside him is a man who fell in love. Who started a family. Who ran a successful company. That man has gone missing. No matter what he's tried, and he's tried everything, Walter can't seem to bring him back. It's as if he's died, but hasn't had the good sense to take his body with him. So mostly what he does is sleep.
