I recently started reading Dune's novel, and it gave me the feeling that whoever took over the job of making this movie would probably be finished. It is still very gratifying to know that the director of Blade Runner took over. He may be one of the few directors who can restore Dune. Although the translation of the reader is rubbish, it does not detract from the charm of this work. Its words will constantly create a sense of picture in your mind, and you will constantly imagine what the sand dunes are like. After watching this documentary, it is a pity that Jodorowsky did not raise funds to make this film at that time. Except for the special effects, the actors, soundtracks, characters' costumes, and scene designs are all the same. Absolutely, and even invited Dali, a madman, to play the emperor. The most important thing is that he can express the psychedelic and bizarre feeling of the dunes. From those drawings you can see what a great work this is. Like he said, like taking LSD. Hopefully the dunes in 2022 will be photographed well.
