Once again, the song ended.

It seems that all the joy, friendship, love, and youth that revolve around dreams at the front of this movie... are all just for this ending.

If he hasn't finished walking the high tightrope, if this dream is just a dream, maybe, we can still stay together. However, the dream comes true, as if the dream has woken up, and when you open your eyes, the youth is gone, the friends of the past have become strangers, and the love of two little guesses has been forgotten, and it seems that there is no need for a reason to say goodbye.

After reading these, I just feel that dreams may not be all beautiful, unless you are the one standing in the center of the stage.

Man on Wire quotes

  • Sgt Charles Daniels: ...I observed the tight rope dancer... because you couldn't call him a walker... approximately half-way between the two towers. I personally figured I was watching something that somebody else would never see again in the world. Thought it was once in a lifetime.

  • Philippe Petit: As a child, I loved to climb everywhere. I'll let the psychiatrists decide why. Maybe I wanted to escape my time. Maybe I wanted to see the world from a different perspective and I was an explorer at heart. Who knows and who cares? But I was a little climber. And nobody, not my parents, not the teachers, nobody could stop me.
