EP03~EP04, reasoning and analytical drama reviews (a series of "puppet criminals", updated on February 1st).

Before writing this drama review, I should first clarify some basic principles that need to be followed when reading this drama review: the drama is brain-burning, and analysis is not easy, so watch it and cherish it. Do not copy, reprint, or reproduce. Research. Of course, all speculation and analysis do not represent subjective and objective plots. It’s the old saying that the peasants who are anti-essential, fault-finding, wicked, envy, jealous, angry and hateful will either block me or ignore my drama reviews. Welcome all my friends to kindly advise me on my drama review, and I am very grateful. I hope that all bean friends and some viewers who can read Chinese can consciously abide by it. Thank you for your understanding and support.

The first season of "The Outsider" came to EP03~EP04, and the plot gradually became clear. The real culprit of the serial child murder case is not humans, but a blood-sucking and child-eating alien that exists in the world that cannot be explained by scientific means, El cuco (El coco). Its Chinese translation: Kukuba. An ancient nursery rhyme from Cuba. If a child is not obedient, does not eat well, or sleeps well, the locals or Spaniards will say that Kukuba will come and take the unbehaved child and eat it. The child-killing alien and weird male EI cuco is actually called the sorrow-swallowing beast. It directly grabs the child and eats it, but afterwards it likes to stay because it longs for the grief of others after losing the child. The child is its dinner. The pain of that child's family is its dessert. The answer to this mystery was revealed in advance because the private investigator Holly Gibney hired by Howie Solomon to investigate the case with Ralph Anderson was indispensable. The old rules, I will reason with you to analyze the main content of the two episodes such as suspense points, thrill points, detection points, and plot prediction points.

(1) How does El cuco, a child-killing and blood-sucking alien, possess the puppeteer's human body?

a. In my previous reasoning and analytical drama review, I have actually successfully deduced that the mysterious man who appeared in the vicinity of Terry Maitland's home and the victim's father Fred Peterson's house many times and appeared at the scene of Ollie's shooting and killing of Terry. The weird man is El cuco. Terry Maitland is definitely not the real murderer of Frankie Peterson, he is just a "puppet" of El cuco. Ralph Anderson has indeed found the wrong case. We don’t know our own souls, let alone the souls of others. Human beings cannot walk the path of life together hand in hand. Everyone has an uncultivated forest in his heart; it is a snowy field with no bird's footprint. —Virginia Woolf, "The Moment of Existence." Ralph made an irreparable mistake, so that Terry Maitland's widow Glory Maitland and two daughters Maya Maitland and Jessa Maitland have been living in dire straits since the incident. When Glory goes out to eat dinner with Howie and his wife, they will be pointed out. Glory doesn't understand why he cares so much about other people's opinions. Commenting is just a pastime for boring people, so why look like an enemy. She doesn't eat other people's food, so don't take other people's words too seriously. Maya and Jessa are even more sad and desolate. The principal of their school actually asked them to quit school, because the strange, angry, sad, and disgusting eyes around them will directly "wallow them up" and make their physical and mental health suffer endlessly. They can only temporarily leave school at home. The identity of the grief devourer of the strange man (EI cuco) is undoubtedly revealed. The suffering of the victim's family and the misfortune of the puppeteer's family are its desserts.

b. Terry Maitland is not the first puppet to commit a child killing by a strange man (EI cuco). The weird man communicated to Ralph through Terry's youngest daughter Jessa that if Ralph does not stop investigating the case, there will be even greater disasters. Jessa can indeed see the weird man, instead of seeing EI cuco in a nightmare dream. This point is also correct in my reasoning and analytical drama review in the previous article. This is how Jessa described the weird man. She has seen the weird man 4 times in total. The weird man Jessa saw for the first time looked like his father Terry, but not his father. The reason why she didn't tell her mother Glory about this was because she was afraid that her mother would cry, sad, and shed tears again. What a sensible Jessa! His skin didn't look like Terry, and he was bad, he wanted to make Jessa cry. The second time, his appearance was only a bit like Terry, the point was that his face was sloppy and fuzzy, as if someone wanted to erase it, and he kept talking bad about his father to Jessa! Then it was before EP02 ending, when he left a pool of blood in Jessa's bedroom. This time his face didn't look like Terry at all, and his skin didn't. This shows that the strange man has touched the DNA and blood samples of another black man. The weird man now is no longer Terry, he has completely become another puppet of him in humans.

c. Who has the weird man in Jessa's mouth mutated into? The answer is Heath Hofostader, a young black guy. Heath works as a caregiver in a nursing home in Dayton City where Terry's father is. The cut on Terry's hand (actually it should be a bleeding spot) was when he was wandering in the corridor of the nursing home, because the ground slipper (cleaner) just mopped the ground, slipped his foot and fell to Heath, and then stung Heath. Caused. Heath is not the real body of the weird man. Like Terry, he is also a puppet murderer of the weird man in the world. Like Terry, Heath is suspected of killing a pair of black little sisters (Sister Williams). The scene of the crime is full of DNA and blood and saliva samples of Heath, as well as traces of the physical characteristics of the Williams sisters (DNA, blood, skin and flesh). Crumbs). At the time of the incident, there were also witnesses who proved that Heath was with the Williams sisters at the time, and that he was the only suspect on the board. But the female staff at the front desk of the nursing home that Heath worked with told Holly that she absolutely did not believe that Heath killed the Williams sisters. Heath was on vacation at the time of the crime and was staying at Regis's hometown with his mother. Heath, who was on vacation, suddenly returned to work in the nursing home on March 6, 2019. The female staff member at the front desk thought Heath was weird at the time, and she was usually very talkative. When she saw the female staff member at the front desk, she just politely gave a nod and smiled, and behaved very coldly. Heath felt strange to himself, and became a "defendant" after returning. The female front desk staff member worked with Heath for 5 years, and Lu Yao knew that Ma Li had been seeing people's hearts for a long time. She couldn't believe that Heath would be the murderer of the child murder. Heath should have gone to New York halfway during the vacation. He also sent a postcard to the female front desk staff member. The postcard read, "I met a girl, don't tell my mom, hehe, Heath." The ending of Heath was similar to Terry. In prison, because some prisoners could not understand his child killing crimes, the guards opened the door of Heath’s cell with one eye closed, and a prisoner wanted to find it. Heath was unhappy. Heath seemed to know that there would be enemies who would come to seek revenge. He grinds his glasses and lenses into a weapon for suicide and commits suicide. The mother who was far away in her hometown didn't know how to distinguish, and ended up deliberately speeding and committing suicide. Heath's younger brother Aaron also died of a drug overdose. The most tragic is the family of the Williams sisters. Their grandfather died of a stroke on the day they were killed. Their mother committed suicide by taking poison a few days after the incident. The machine lasted her life for a month, and finally disconnected the oxygen tube. The Heath murder case and Terry's case have too much in common. Heath is the "second" Terry.

d. Heath's affair in New York is his fatal mistake. He ran into a female room service staff named Maria Caneles at the hotel in New York. Maria is pretty. Heath should fall in love with her at first sight, and Maria doesn't catch a cold at all to him. Because she doesn't like men! According to Maria's description, she agreed to have breakfast with Heath the next morning, but she still missed the appointment, but EP02, there are some close-up shots describing the sweet time when they had breakfast together and the scene of their sexing that night. Maria's testimony is not credible, because she knows the existence of the weird man. She was also later accused of killing a boy. She was also not at the scene of the crime, but in Newark with her cousin. Her cousin also recorded a video, but no one believed her testimony, and the results of the scientific appraisal were also ironclad. Maria, Heath, and Terry are actually strange male puppet murderers.

e, Maria, Heath, Terry and they "infect" the same alien in the order that they are weird male ➡️Maria➡️Heath➡️Terry. (I'm not sure about the order of mutation at this point!) Maria should know something about the weird man. She can't say, she doesn't dare to say! Because no one would believe her "nonsense", even if she tells the truth, she will be treated as a mentally ill patient and will always be kept in a mental hospital. Maria and Heath and Terry had similar endings. Although they were not dead, the murdered boy's grandfather gave her father and uncle a bullet each, causing them to go straight to heaven and see God. Although Maria is fine for the time being, she is also being held in prison awaiting the final sentence of death. She is also very likely to be like Terry, before the final death sentence is pronounced, the other family members of the boy will be shot and killed.

f. The weird man (EI cuco) left "Terry" in a seemingly abandoned grain warehouse (barn) before EP02ending. On the belt of the clean suit that he put on at the strip club before, Yunis found two groups Fingerprints, one group is the fingerprints of the young and strong Terry, and the other group of fuzzy fingerprints are the fingerprints of the old Terry. The 80-year-old Terry can't surpass from the future to the present to kill himself and frame himself, right? The police also found some gray sap from unknown objects on the straw on which the suit was placed. The state’s official identification structure is actually unable to detect what these gray juices are. I have reason to suspect that these gray sap should be traces left by the mutation of the weird man (EI cuco). Similar to that of human blood or some rotten substances after the alien skin peeled off. This abandoned grain warehouse (barn) should be the temporary residence of the strange man (EI cuco). In the barn, the police also found something that resembled a zombie corpse that was broken.

(2) Jack Hoskins is indeed the "Infernal Affairs" of the weird man in the police station.

a. Ralph's boss, Jack Hoskins, is a swear word, likes to watch pornographic shows, short-tempered, rascal, lazy, and late-stage patient with procrastination. He has a big hobby, like hunting. EP02, he originally wanted to shoot a wild boar, but because of the incident where Terry was shot by Ollie, he had to end his vacation early and come to the police station to complete some of the things left by Ralph. Ralph was required by the police to take a compulsory paid vacation. Tamika (Little T, Ralph's former assistant) had just given birth and was shot by Ollie in his right calf, so many unfinished cases can only be handled by Jack. Jack is not at all like a policeman who seizes the murderer, seeks the truth, maintains justice, returns the victim to justice, and washes away the grievances of the "Dou's", but more like a gangster who specializes in the underworld.

b. When Jack came to the grain warehouse (barn) to search for a case to investigate the case, he should have discovered the spooky and spooky real body of the weird man (EI cuco). The weird man intentionally hurt the nape of Jack's neck. The unbearable pain makes Jack helpless, and in the end he can only become the "devil's spokesperson" and the loyal "servant" of the strange man (EI cuco). EP04, his behavior trajectory is getting more and more weird, first hit an antelope with a shotgun. Maybe it is a deer? Then the antelope or deer was sucked up by the weird male (EI cuco). Then he went to the supermarket to buy a lot of daily necessities and furniture, etc., and placed them next to the antelope or deer that had been sucked blood in the wild.

c. Tamika came to the police station on crutches and asked colleagues from the police station to see her son's birth banquet. Jack was completely absent-minded, with a faint pain in the back of his neck. He didn't know how to complete the case summary report, and he didn't even notice Tamika's loud shouts. Because Ralph is on vacation, and it can be seen that he and Jack don’t get along well, so he probably didn’t know that Jack has become the "devil's spokesperson" for the weird man (EI cuco). But I personally think that the security guard Claude Bolton (one of the witnesses in the Terry case) who had a record of several feet in the past of the strip club should have noticed Jack's abnormal behavior.

d. I estimate that from EP05 to EP06, Jack may have a catastrophe at the birth banquet of his little T son. Little T's child may be taken away by EI cuco and eaten directly because of Jack! ! ! ! But not necessarily. I think Jack still has a conscience for the time being, and he keeps on controlling the physical pain and demons that are controlled by EI cuco. But it is also possible that he was just a pretentious gesture of mixing in with them to inquire about the news! Claude Bolton may be the next puppet murderer to be possessed by a strange man (EI cuco). For this reasoning analysis, individuals cannot be 100% sure that this must be the case. If the reasoning is wrong, please bear with me, please don’t spray if you don’t like it. After all, I have never read Stephen King’s best-selling novel of the same name.

(3) Holly Gibney's personality traits. Next, she will join hands with Ralph to investigate the case.

a. Holly Gibney's character can be described in a sentence by Howie Solomon (Terry's hired lawyer), "She is a complete lunatic! But she is a very powerful investigator in her exclusive field!"

b. The genius is on the left and the madman is on the right. There is only a thin line between the genius and the madman. Everyone knows Nobel, if he fails to develop gunpowder, he is a lunatic who hides in the laboratory all day and tinkers with things! It is difficult for ordinary people to understand the actions and thoughts of geniuses, so they are naturally classified as lunatics, knowing that they succeed, ordinary people see understandable results, and then look back at these people and understand how difficult their success is. They are geniuses. So the genius and the lunatic are just a thin line apart.

c. Holly is really good at investigating cases. Ralph and Yunis, who had no clues, rely on Holly's investigations in Dayton and New York to finally know that it is an unnatural force (EI cuco the grief eater). ) They are eating up children and devouring the sorrows of the family. Don't say it, it's really true that you spend your eyes on each other. The first place she investigated, Andy Katcavage, the security guard at the mall surrounding the hotel where Terry had vacationed in Dayton, could be said to have fallen in love with Holly at first sight. Andy turned out to be a senior policeman before he served as the security guard of the mall. He provided Holly with many key clues in the Heath case. For Holly, if it is not for the investigation of Terry's child murder case, it is entirely possible to develop a romantic love story with Andy. Of course, you can also talk about love and talk to Ralph while investigating the case and talk to Andy.

d. Holly's IQ should be amazing, so she was treated as an outlier in her childhood and accepted various medical scientific identifications and examinations. And Holly not only believes in God, but also very much believes in the existence of evil ghosts and aliens with many supernatural powers in the world. That's why she accidentally ran into the witch from Cuba while visiting Maria. The witch knew that Maria was a child-killing puppet manipulated by the grief eater. It is estimated that the witch has a way to annihilate this alien in one fell swoop. The extremely contradictory and polarized evidence that happened to Maria, Heath, and Terry are actually EI cuco's tricks. If you want to catch the demons of supernatural power, it is useless to rely on scientific identification evidence. Some ancient magical special methods may be needed to deal with them.

e. Next, Ralph and Holly will jointly investigate the case. The police can't keep Ralph on paid vacation all the time. Jack's incredible state will surely be slowly discovered by Ralph. Jack's stalking will definitely bring some trouble to Ralph and Holly's joint investigation. It depends on how the witty Holly and the brave Ralph solve this problem.

f. Before EP04ending, Merlin, the little boy who stole the car, gave Ralph and Yunis important clues to solve the case. It turned out that Merlin had seen the real face of the weird man, and he also knew that he had parked the stolen white Chevrolet Van in a parking lot in Dayton, and he watched the weird man drive away the white one. Chevrolet Van. When his eyes focused on the weird man, because the weird man's face made him feel very scared, he didn't tell Ralph and Yunis all the truth in the first time. Now he drew a picture of the appearance of a strange man for Ralph. Probably will help solve the case. Because the complete mutation of the grief eater takes some time. During this period of time, he is very likely to change into another person's appearance and continue to commit the crime, and this picture can be used as a sketch of the suspect for investigation and investigation.

(4). EI cuco, a child-eating and blood-sucking alien, probably also has such a monster in other countries.

a. Holly checked some materials, information and pictures of Kukuba on the Internet. Among them, there is a child-eating monster called Pugot Mamu in the Philippines. It is a huge headless variant. He lives in an abandoned house in the woods. He has no head, so he can only use the hole in his neck to eat children.

b. Holly also found a famous painting of "The God of Agriculture Devours His Son". A knowledge point of popular science, "The God of Agriculture Devours His Son" is a work painted by the Spanish romantic painter Francisco Goya. It is famous for its dark and horrible. In the painting, Saturnus, the god of Saturn in Roman mythology, is devouring his own child. This work is the most famous one in the "Black Painting" series painted by Goya in his later years. At the beginning of the world, the goddess of the earth Gaia and Uranus, the god of the sky, mingled to give birth to the giant Saturnus. When Saturnus grew up, he castrated his father with a scythe and killed him, becoming the king over the gods. However, Saturnus has been facing his father’s last words-"You will also be killed by your own children"--he has no choice but to confuse himself with his sister and wife Rhea in order to break the prophecy. The five children who were born swallowed them one after another. However, even with sufficient preparations, Saturnus died in the hands of his sixth child, Jupiter, the Greek mythological name Zeus, and was deprived of power and status.

c. Such child-eating monsters are also circulating in other parts of the world.

(1) Italy. L'uomo Nero has an unfathomable face, a dark coat and a black hat. He hid under the table. The adults knocked on the table to urge the children to eat dinner. If the children did not eat, L'uomo Nero would show up and take the children away.

(2) Trinidad and Tobago. Jumbies live here and specialize in killing disobedient children. He can change his appearance, so children are warned not to play with animals casually. However, there are several ways to help us defeat Jumbies. Leave the shoes outside the door, Jumbies has no feet, he will spend all night wearing shoes. Leave a vessel full of rice or rice outside the door, and Jumbies will count one by one. Cross the river, Jumbies will not cross the river. You can also leave a rope full of knots, and Jumbies will untie them one by one.

(3) Norway. Nokken is a kind of water monster. When he calls you and you don't go into the water, he will catch you.

(4) Quebec. Bonhomme-the man at seven o'clock-its name comes from the English "Bonesetter", which is the old name for the wandering wizard. The man steals children at seven o'clock, but only when you are awake.

(5) The Philippines. Pugot Mamu is a huge headless monster who lives in an abandoned house in the woods. He has no head, so he can only use the hole in his neck to eat children.

(6) The Netherlands. Bolman has claws and fangs. He hides under your bed or in the closet. If you don't sleep, he will wait for an opportunity to grab you into the basement.

(7) Czech Republic, Poland. Bubak pretends to be a scarecrow on the shore, learning the sound of abandoned babies to seduce adults and children. His car was a car pulled by a cat, and his clothes were woven to hold the soul he had stolen.

(8) Bulgaria. The evil partner Torbalan who is hostile to Santa Claus and Baba Yaga hid in the shadow of Bulgaria, waiting for an opportunity to grab the disobedient child into a bag and put it away.

(9) Bahamas. There was a villain who pushed the car to catch children who couldn't go home after dark. If you are caught, you will become a villain exactly like yourself and stay in his car forever.

(10) Scotland. The phantom is a kind of evil spirit that can bring people all kinds of bad luck. It sometimes puts a pair of cold hands on people's faces at night. You must not call it, otherwise it will follow your home to the ends of the world for no reason. Putting a horseshoe at the door will protect you from its claws.

(11) England. There are many opinions about the origin of the term "Bogeyman". One believes that the term comes from "Buggy man", the person who drove the corpse when the Black Death swept Europe. In the United States, ghosts are at best described as fog-like traces on windows, or tall and thin scarecrows.

(12) Finland. Groke is one of the most distinctive ghosts in the world. She is a lonely and sentimental blue monster, and all the land she walked through was frozen. Although she is not evil, she is just lonely. But she also enjoys being scary.

(13) Spain, Mexico "Child, go to sleep, go to sleep. Otherwise, the coconut monster will come to eat you!" If you imagine the coconut as a head, plus three holes in the shape of a face, you You will understand that in the eyes of children, the coconut tree is like a little furry monster. In Spain in the 16th and 17th centuries, people used bags to catch homeless orphans and children who were disobedient and did not sleep.

(14) South Korea. Korean ghosts are called Kotgahm, which means persimmon. There is a legend about a mother who told her a howling child would feed the tiger if she cried again. A tiger happened to pass by. Hearing what his mother said, he waited for a good meal outside the window. But the mother gave the child a persimmon and told him it was Kotgahm, and the child stopped crying. So the tiger believed that Kotgahm must be a more ferocious animal than tigers. Nowadays, people usually think of Kotgahm as an old man carrying a net to catch naughty children.

(15) Japan. Namahage goes door-to-door every New Year to ask if there are any disobedient children in the family. If he hears the parents say that his child is hardworking and does not cry, he will leave and ask the next family.

d. The EI cuco (EI coco the grief eater) mentioned in the drama is probably a complex of the kid-eater monsters mentioned above. In other words, it is more similar to the Phantasmagoria in Scotland and Pugot Mamu in the Philippines. No wonder Jack bought a lot of household items and all kinds of daily necessities from the supermarket. Probably this EI cuco wants to transform into a human form, living in an abandoned house built in the forest or in an existing abandoned house, and tricking the children to come and eat it. EI cuco, a child-eating and vampire monster of this kind, still takes advantage of some human weaknesses to eat children, devour sorrow, and enhance demonic nature.

Temporarily give the episode 4? praise.

a. The plot advances relatively brightly and smoothly. There is almost no "urine", but the reasoning analysis of the fantasy part is not difficult. EP04 has become a science fiction and supernatural movie. It feels that the answer is revealed too quickly and lacks the fun of reasoning.

b. In ancient times, Taoist priests from Maoshan dealt with zombies. Today, Holly and Ralph teamed up with witches to deal with the grief eater.

c. I always feel that EI cuco (EI coco) is a child-eater vampire monster that cannot eat some children for no reason. Everything has a cause and there must be an effect. I really want to know why EI cuco eats up some children and devours human sorrow? And why didn't it eat Terry's little daughter Jessa and the kid Merlin who stole the car? Does it feel that it's enough to torture the Terry family, Merlin is an orphan, eating it, can't get its "dessert" ~ the sorrow of Merlin's family? Maybe. The plot above is a bit of a small bug that is not rigorous.

d. The author of the original novel of the same name in this series is the famous Stephen King. The producer of this series is Jason Bateman who plays Terry Maitland. The difficulty of suspense reasoning is purely average, but through this drama, it once again reflects all kinds of human nature and human weakness.

PS, self-questioning and self-answering of four personal questions.

a. Is Terry's father Peter a patient with Alzheimer's? He should have noticed that there was a problem with the later Heath.

b. The font of Heath on the postcard of the female colleague at the front desk of the nursing home is obviously different from the font on the postcard taken by Holly with her mobile phone. Is this a bug or a plot set deliberately? Maybe it's a bug, right?

c. After watching 4 episodes, I finally understand what the title of the play is "The Outsider". The dual meaning is that people who are outside the matter have nothing to do with them. Those poor children are not killed by themselves, but killed for the dead ghosts. In the eyes of the murderer, they have nothing to do with them. The second meaning is alien invaders and aliens. From the children of the victims, the families of the children of the victims, the "violators", and the "family members of the perpetrators" all did not know what happened, and then they were killed, and then they became the "defendants". . God knows who did it. The "defendant" was wronged to death, and the "family of the defendant" suffered along with it. All the people who worked and lived hard in the society were harmed by the uninvited devil to find the North!

d. Maria should not be the first to be infected by EI cuco, because her face is currently in a state of dissimilarity. Jessa also said that the current face of EI cuco is completely darker than his father Terry. Then the order in which the puppets are "infected" or possessed should not be EI cuco➡️Maria➡️Heath➡️Terry, there should be other puppets before Maria. I even think that EI cuco should have "infernal affairs" like Jack in the world. See how the plot advances and give us some answers.

To be continued.
