Compared with the American version, the Japanese version of "Faithful Dog Hachiko" focuses more on the connection between the dog Hachiko and the whole society. So people's attitudes towards it and what happened after that saddens me even more. That pitiful and deplorable loyalty must have made it suffer a lot, with drooping ears, lame feet, and the loss of that majestic belt. When it died, it was still waiting for its owner to run out of the station and hug it. It was cold and painful, but at least it still had hope in its eyes.
