I think that Kim Ki-duk is invulnerable to all poisons, and "Unknown Recipient", which is very highly rated in this Kim film, has immunity, but after watching it, I was still poisoned. The film exposed the harm caused by the war to the Koreans. It is so straightforward, violent and brutal, and deeply depressing. It is not good to watch the whole person. Maybe the reality is so cruel, Kim Ki-duk is just telling the truth about the tragic history after the war. It is precisely because of its cruelty that he dare not face such a reality.
