I think "The Way of Thieves" is better than the trilogy of "Ga's Fade", because "Pirates" tells the story of ordinary little thugs. Of course, this is also what the audience does not catch. Most people like to see the overbearing president covering the sky with his hands, rather than seeing how frustrated and unlucky a "Egg Laptop" is.
This film can be said to be a model of gangster films, as well as a model of educational films. There are always too many little kids in the world who want to be a gangster, want to come out and do it. How many can climb to the top of the tower? How many of them can get away? After watching "Pirates" I gave up my mind.
Don't think that all kinds of organizations and brothers only talk about the word "righteousness" in their mouths, and they are really talking about righteousness. They only talk about interests, so don't think about loyalty. The male protagonist was favored by the organization because of his loyalty when he was a child, but when he was imprisoned, no one took care of his family's livelihood; he worked for the boss for decades, and the last few thousand dollars were paid away. In the end, the brother I knew since childhood wanted to do it too, so I could only stumble to be an FBI witness, betray everyone to live, and be a whistleblower.
PS Ray Liotta is really expressive as the bottom of the underworld, but unfortunately his stardom is not particularly good. GTAVC did not find the wrong person for his dubbing.
"When I was a kid, I thought it was cooler to be a gangster than to be the president of the United States. Now I'm a nobody." ---- male protagonist
