Watching this movie reminds me of the dog

When I watch this movie, I always think of another movie - "The Curse of the Super Invincible Door Dog Man Rabbit", a very cute and funny clay cartoon. Although it is an animation, the two films have a lot in common. Perhaps this is a common feature of this type of British comedy.

Common point 1——Characters:

The two protagonists are partners; the No. 1 protagonist is a clever and agile lone hero, and the No. 2 protagonist is a kind and cowardly little person;

the people have many roles, each with their own weight; Suggestive gestures appear, but they won't let you easily grasp the handle; the development of the characters' fate is unexpected.

Common point 2-plot:

The balance of the world in which the protagonist lives is suddenly broken, so he begins to search for the answer;

when the protagonist thinks he has found the answer, the answer is just an illusion;

the protagonist is in danger, and the ending is always unexpected.

Common point 3-British humor:

The protagonist tries his best to maintain a serious spirit, but what happens around him always makes people

laugh; his partner is always a character who makes jokes; he spoofs a

blockbuster; Common point 4 - background environment: small town small town! Almost all the stories take place in an unknown small place, there are rules there, there is no connection with the outside world, the relationship between people is complicated, and there is no way that there is no secret behind the peace! I think people who like this film should like the dog.

    Repeat "Zombie Shawn", but not as witty as

    A bloody violent movie that tells a bad story! It's better to give up the story or give up the blood, so that it may become a genre. It is full of inexplicable British humor, and it looks like Japanese.

Hot Fuzz quotes

  • [seeing Webley's barn full of guns]

    Nicholas Angel: Where on earth did you get these?

    Arthur Webley: Found 'em.

    Danny Butterman: He found them.

    Nicholas Angel: And what is this?

    Danny Butterman: Sea mine.

    Arthur Webley: Sea mine.

    Nicholas Angel: Well, Mr. Webley this is an extremely dangerous collection, it's a wonder nobody's been hurt before.

    Arthur Webley: Nah, just a lot of junk.

    [He hits the mine with the butt of his shotgun. With a creak, it slowly tips onto its side and starts ticking softly. The three men exchange a look]

    Nicholas Angel: MOVE, MOVE, MOVE!

  • Simon Skinner: I'm afraid my nickname of 'Sissy' is a revelation only to yourself. My teenage years studying ballet are well known.

    DS Andy Wainwright: Yeah, Sissy Skinner. What a gaylord!

    Simon Skinner: Thank you, Andrew.
