Adulthood movie plot

Released from prison for murder, Sam Peel finds it difficult to adjust to life on the outside, and is forced to confront the people he has hurt and try to figure out who wants revenge on him. He finds himself being hunted by some young thugs who are going the same way Sam has traveled before, but why are they hunting Sam? Who are they? Sam will never forget the first day of his freedom, which was as important in his life as the day he lost it before. Sam will go from teenager to adult if he survives.
