The accent of the Macedonian soldiers in the film does not match that of the Greeks, because historically these Macedonians came from remote hill tribes, so they have a Celtic accent in the film, which is of course similar to that of Aristotle and other fine Greeks. People's British accents are very different, but many people don't understand that this is a deliberate design.

In the Battle of Gaugamela, the Persian army wore black uniforms, but in fact it should be yellow and light purple.
