Young Ash (Bruce Campbell) drove his girlfriend Linda (Denise Bixler) out to play. On the way, they settled in an uninhabited wooden cabin in the woods. Ash found a book and recording equipment in the study, during which it recorded the entire process of the ancient history professor Nobby (John Peakes) visiting Conda Castle and discovering the missing "Book of the Dead" for thousands of years.
When the professor chanted the spell to summon the evil spirits in the tape, the evil spirits that seemed to have been sleeping for a long time came to life. Linda was attacked and turned into a demon, and Ash was forced to kill his girlfriend, and he could not avoid the fate of being eroded. When he woke up from a coma, he realized that he had been trapped in the Jedi by the evil spirit and could not escape.
