Felon movie plot

Wade Porterhas a sweet family, a gentle and virtuous wife and an innocent and lovely son. Fortunately, he has applied for an industrial and commercial loan, and plans to do a lot in the coming year. One night, while the whole family was asleep, suddenly a thief came into the room. After protecting his wife and children, Wade chased the thief. When the other party was about to dig a murder weapon, he waved a big stick in self-defense, and the thief was killed on the spot. Wade was imprisoned for this reason, and because he did not choose to defend, he was sentenced to three years in prison and was given a reduced sentence.
