Hellboy evaluation action

"Hellboy: Rise of the Blood Queen" restarts in a chaotic manner, combining bad CGI and severely inadequate execution. This will be one of the worst movies.
"Geographical Baron: The Rise of the Blood Queen" is a good attempt to restart the classic, but it failed to reach the high level set by Del Toro and Ron Perlman. The post-production of the film did not meet expectations.
Director Neil Marshall and screenwriter Andrew Cosby went too far on the R-class road, introducing too much blood and profanity, and frankly, it became dull. The bland performance and incoherent story did not help.
"Hellboy: Rise of the Blood Queen" really wants to be an R-rated badass epic movie, but it's just a bunch of official articles copied from the original, quirky and inadequate, full of monsters with severed hands and eyeballs fighting each other, and various doomsdays. The atmosphere suggests, but unfortunately it can't be picked up.

B-level films under the advancement of technology. The scene is bloody enough, and the queen is stupid enough.

Too much stuff, I feel like I would drown in blood if I plunged into it. Hellboy is a big geek who's far more troublesome to interpret with images than with lines.

Hellboy quotes

  • Professor Bruttenholm: It takes a real man to hold a knife to his throat every morning without cutting his throat.

  • [first lines]

Professor Bruttenholm: [narrating] The year is 517 A.D., known as the Dark Ages and for fucking good reason. An endless war between the armies of man and creatures of darkness has raged across Britain. And in retribution of man's injustices for creatures, the immortal witch Vivvienne Nimue has spread her deadly plague threatening mankind off the face of the earth. And so at Pendle Hill, beneath an ancient oak tree, King Arthur... Yes, that King Arthur, and his powerful wizard Merlin, were forced to surrender to Nimue, the Queen of Blood.
