Brenda is a single mother of three living in Chicago. Life is not optimistic for Brenda. In order to at least not let the children live on the streets, Brenda has to work hard every day. Still, life is full of hope in Brenda's eyes, and at least the children always bring some solace. It wasn't until Brenda was suddenly fired and lost her job to support her family that her world suddenly darkened, and for the first time in her life, she felt extremely hopeless and discouraged. At this time, she received the news that her father, whom she had never met, had just passed away. So, she took the child to Georgia, where her father was alive, to attend his funeral. There she met the lovely and lively Brown family established by her father. Getting along with them brought Brenda back to her former optimism and cheerfulness, and she began to enjoy the afternoon in the town and the hustle and bustle of the market.
