Shutter Island Negative Evaluation

"Closed Island" discusses propositions about which is true or false between the spiritual world and the real world. In the process of indistinguishable authenticity, trust between people is lost, and internal and external value judgments are out of balance. It’s a pity that compared to Scorsese’s masterpieces such as "Taxi Driver" and "Angry Bull", the film is too repetitive in the storyline of the mentally ill. A horror movie that can't be scrutinized. Especially the bluffing soundtrack, not only failed to play the expected psychological guidance, but imposed discomfort on the audience. The director pursued too much the use of visual and sound skills, but lost his most natural and characteristic style: the calm and composed film language. Perhaps Scorsese wanted to create his own suspenseful style, but comparing Hitchcock's interlocking and Polanski's step by step, it is obvious that his ability to grasp "Closed Island" is disappointing
.
The boundary between the real environment in the film and Ted's fantasy is not clear. This is the main problem of the film. This problem also directly led to the slow development of the plot of the film, thereby reducing the audience's interest in watching the movie. It is very likely that the audience has discovered that some plots are deliberately misled by the director. Whenever the mystery in the film rises, when the plot advances to the climax, the plot of the film slows down again, and the protagonist Ted encounters a series of real and false characters. In fact, Scorsese is forcing the audience to think about the plot according to the clues he prepared in advance, and hopes that the audience will realize it before the answer is revealed. Sadly, the audience may have seen through the director's deliberations early on. When the answer is revealed, the audience may feel that the plot is far-fetched and meaningless.
