In Italy in the 1930s, the father of Marcelo Clélisi, the son of a dilapidated nobleman, lived in a lunatic asylum for a long time. He is thirty-four years old and has no wife yet. A man from a dysfunctional family in Italy in the 1930s tries to become normal by joining the fascist trend of the times, but struggles between guilt and the desire to become normal after being tasked with assassinating an acquaintance (professor). Soon after the assassination, the fascists fell, and the male protagonist concealed his fascist identity, but he failed to integrate into the new social trend in the end. The motion of the film (various lenses such as push-pull, panning, lifting, etc.), composition, color, light and shadow, photography, etc. are all perfect. Specifically, on the one hand they are beautiful and elegant, on the other hand they are either emotionally "cold" (e.g. color, lighting) or out of touch with the emotions of the characters in the story itself.
