"True Romance" is rarely mentioned, at least few people take the initiative to link the film with Quentin Tarantino's film. However, the film still embodies a lot of Quintessential characteristics, and it can be seen from it that it has a lot of influence on the later type of film noir. Judging from the color and ending, the film seems to have nothing to do with black. Look at the hot and vulgar dress, the unscrupulous lingering of ecstasy, the Hollywood under the golden sun, one by one shots that make people spout, happy and happy. Reunion, at best, is just another American gangster farce.
In the film, the protagonist Clarence's lifestyle of doing everything for love and fully enjoying his youth is highly appreciated by the audience, which is also an important aspect of Quentin Tarantino's creation. Although the film was not directed by Quentin himself, the director Tony Scott captured the characteristics of the script and fully demonstrated the charm of Quentin’s original work. The joining of many actors and the fierce shootout scenes also added a lot to the film.
