The filming of "Thunderak Valley" officially started on July 4, 1966. The film was mainly filmed in Japan . Himeji Castle inserved as Tanaka's ninja training camp. His private transportation hub was taken in Tokyo. At the Nakano Shimbashi Station of the subway, the location of Osato Company was from the New Otani Hotel in Tokyo, and the hotel park was also used to shoot scenes of ninja training. The set of the Devil’s party launch base was built at the Pinewood Studios at a total cost of up to 1 million US dollars, including the heliport and the monorail. The whole set is 45 meters high, and the locals can see it from 5 kilometers away
