If Capote hadn't had the ambition to write such a crime nonfiction, he might have been a best-selling author in New York society by writing romances like Breakfast at Tiffany's. Writing, like falling in love, is a way to walk into the other person and into the self, but sometimes you will find your inner ugliness because you go too deep. This kind of fear caused by self-analysis may be the choice of most writers. Suicide is also the reason why Capote stopped writing. The film depicts the writer's mentality very smoothly. I thought I would watch it patiently, but after watching it, I still have no idea.
