We can only move forward and miss the past

I know that this film celebrates the spiritual simplicity, humility, faith of Aboriginal people.

After watching the movie, most people will think with disgust that the pace of urban life is too fast, the pressure is too high, and the development of the times makes people's hearts become unpredictable and life is very tiring.

But I have to admit that the advancement of the times cannot be blocked, and it is indeed mostly material and technological progress. You also have to admit that it's a lot easier for your life.

Just as you miss the simplicity and beauty of your first love, but you can't treat others like your first love. This movie is also constantly reminding everyone not to forget the original intention to be simple, kind and lovely. Why do you remind me so much, because you realize that you are about to lose yourself.

We always think about having an idealized human society. The common possession of good spirit and good material.

It's like after you watch this movie, you start to feel pity, but so what, you can't go back.

You can only try to integrate into the society in a chaotic society, while telling yourself to stay simple, give your mind a holiday in your spare time, return to simplicity, and then continue to embark on the journey.

Sure enough, life lies in sports. BUSHMAN has long legs and thin waists, and has a first-class figure. For a society to have pure happiness, either the whole people will be completely prosperous, or the whole people will be completely primitive. We are trying so hard to find happiness, but in fact, we have been singing innocent elegy without knowing it.

The Gods Must Be Crazy quotes

  • Narrator: The one characteristic which really makes the Bushmen different from all the other races on earth is that they have no sense of ownership at all. Where they live, there's really nothing you CAN own: only trees and grass and animals. In fact, these Bushmen have never seen a stone or a rock in their lives. The hardest things they know are wood and bone. They live in a gentle world, where nothing is as hard as rock, steel or concrete.

  • Narrator: Lately, strange new things sometimes appeared in the sky: noisy birds that flew without flapping their wings.
