They have a white house with a pair of people who love each other. Every corner of the house has traces of their careful layout. They have a dog. The front and rear of the house are full of green trees and flowers. They have loved, made trouble, grieved, and tried their best, and there are all traces of them in the house, witnessing the memory of their struggle. Personally, I think the movie is better than Carroll. Tears pouring down are not just the unswerving love of two women. It's more about people fighting for their rights, politics for human rights compromise and forward social forgiveness and the resilience of the legal system.
