Life is getting more and more insensitive. The so-called firm belief in love and eachother's pledges are ultimately no match for the passage of time. The final winner is always time.
So we went to the movies. In the dark theater, the dream on the screen was repairing the broken soap bubbles that we once believed in. We have grown, but life has changed beyond recognition.
For incurable mental illness, sometimes death is the best relief, so writer Virginia Woolf chose Shen He, and the hero of the film, who couldn't control his desire to rape, chose to commit suicide by cutting his wrists in his girlfriend's arms. The saddest moment for the audience is also the moment of relief. Because he used the self-will of suicide to end his sins forever.
But real life is not a movie. More often we give up our free will, then carry a heavy cross, deceive ourselves, and walk insensitively among all beings.
The narrative structure of the film is complete and the logic is very strong. The performance of the actors is basically in place, but the tension is still not enough. The editing work of the film is a failure, it is not wise and concise enough, and the information transmission cannot be cut as soon as it is good, making the whole film seem protracted and tedious.
What I'm thinking is that the script for this film is still good, but obviously the director and actors are doing well, especially the negative effects of the editing work, and the script still doesn't shine as it should.
After watching the whole film, the conclusion is that it is a film worth remaking. I hope to see a more exciting one in the future, but this one is also worth watching, just because of the brilliance of the script.
A good script, a good director, a good actor, and a good editor are really happy if they appear in a film at the same time, but all these are often not determined by people's free will, but for those with I am still looking forward to foreign films with professional team spirit.
As for my expectations for the current Chinese movies, just like the emotional impact Chinese football has brought me, it has long been calm and insensitive...
