BrainDead movie plot

The heroine, Lorraelle Hurley, wants to be a documentary filmmaker, but has to face the reality of running out of money. His father agreed to partially finance her filming and pay off her tuition loan in exchange for making Laurier an aide to her brother Luke, a U.S. congressman. Then, she experienced the crisis of the forced shutdown of the federal government, and at the same time, she had to compete with Gareth, the assistant of Luke's political opponent Reid. Just then, a ship arrives in the United States carrying a meteorite parasitized by alien ants, a swarm of ants that continue to eat the brains of members of Congress and other Capitol Hill employees. The strange behavior of many people around also made Laurel feel that something was wrong   .
