Doctor Dolittle background creation

The film is based on the 1967 music film of the same name, and the 2001 sequel tells the story of saving forests and endangered animals. This film is adapted from the first half of the 20th century, a well-known children's book created by Hugh Lofting. In fact, this novel was put on the screen in 1967, and this time directed by Betty Thomas puts the background of the story in the modern world. In this film, Eddie Murphy, who plays Doctor Dolittle, continues his computer stunts + comedy, but the real protagonist of this film is the animal patients. Retracting the fancy performances of celebrities and highlighting those protagonists who can be accepted by a wide range of age groups is often the winning weapon at the box office. Eddie Murphy knows this, Betty Thomas knows this, and obviously, Twentieth Century Fox also knows this.
In 2019, a remake of a new movie starring Robert Downey Jr. and directed by Stephen Gahan.

I thought that this film would be bad, but I didn't think that Paul Giamatti would play tricks in such a bad film.

Doctor Dolittle quotes

  • Owl: [to the other animals] And not only could he understand me, but it turns out he's a doctor! Look, not even a scar! And it hurt so bad. I don't know what I would have done without him.

  • Tiger: [stares at Rodney] Jungle prey...

    Rodney: Uh-oh.
