Hacksaw Ridge background creation

The film tells a story that took place in Lynchburg, Virginia and Okinawa, but the film was all shot in Australia, and the staff and most of the actors were Australians.
In order to truly reproduce the tragic and corpse battlefield, Mel Gibson blew up a farm in Brungli, a suburb of southwestern Sydney, Australia, disguised as the top of the hacksaw ridge, and successfully photographed tens of thousands of square meters of bloody battlefield scenes.
The film director insisted on "pure real shooting" to complete the shooting, and all the scenes were shot in real scene. Among them, the scene of "Fire Devil" used special fire to directly "burn" real people, and the film team did not use 3D technology, design tools, or 3D animation. In the case of software, a 3D model of clay sculpture is used to scale the battlefield ravines.
