What a suffocating movie. Suffocation is not about the quality of the film, but about the relationship and emotions of the two protagonists. All quarrels stem from one party's feelings being ignored, which leads to disappointment, sadness, and even disgust for the other. Imagine Scarlet in a marriage story. The scene of arguing with Adam was expanded into a feature-length film, which is probably the look and feel of this film. The chattering from the beginning to the end gradually pushed aside the past of the two and the vulnerability that had been hidden for a long time. Fortunately, the screenwriter gave the audience a breather in the middle of each quarrel. Time is like the intermission of a stage play. The hero and heroine are smoking and drinking. As the audience, I am exhausted both physically and mentally, and then there is another long paragraph of arguing and hurting each other. But my favorite paragraph is the male lead aka the new director who is very fond of him. The Los Angeles Times film critic who minds or despises a long monologue of his new film is extremely witty and vivid, but also quite speculative. The subject matter and format of this film also give the two actors a very broad space to play. I am now watching the film. Just want to drink a glass of wine

75/100, I really like this JAZZ accent. Although it is presented in the form of an indoor drama, the rhythm is well controlled, and the intermission is still pulsating between the words and words like gunfire. The theme and content are a bit monotonous and superficial, but there are a lot of knowing complaints, especially when the front half of the conversation turns to the "movie" section of the outbreak, it is really too interesting. It is a pity that this film does not yet have the extreme emotion and "crazy destructive power" of John Casavetti's work that the director is trying to emulate. But do you feel offended by the poor evaluation of the North American media?

Marie: You're more privileged than the white girl who works for the LA times who thinks she's doing a public service by lifting up your mediocre ass.
Malcolm: Now you're being cruel.
Marie: Well, try slitting your wrist with a pair of nail scissors.

Malcolm: What do you mean, "mediocre"?
