In the spring of 1836, Mexican ruler Antonio Lopez de) led thousands of elite soldiers to besiege the Texas military fortress of the Alamo. Facing an unlikely war, fewer than 200 Texas civilians volunteered for the "future of their homeland." None of these fighters who fought was even a soldier, and their status, occupation and identity were varied, some were bankers, farmers, lawyers, some husbands, brothers, fathers, some tramps, dreamers and legends.
In "The Holy Trinity": young and feisty Lieutenant William Travis), hot-blooded boy James Bowie) and pioneering West legend David Crockett) under the command of stubborn resistance. After 13 days of defending, the isolated castle ran out of ammunition and food, and eventually the entire army was destroyed. Two and a half stars. There are comments that this version is more inclined to describe people than war. The problem is that it has been long-winded before, and it has not left a deep impression on the three protagonists. Only the long shot of a cannonball perspective in the film for more than 40 minutes is amazing, and the battle of the city is also ok.

It's actually pretty good. The scheduling of the war scenes is comparable to that of "The Lord of the Rings 2"...and Patrick Wilson, don't be so cute...

The Alamo quotes

  • Antonio Lopez de Santa Ana: If we are not successful, our grandchildren and their grandchildren will beg for crumbs from the Americans!

  • Sam Houston: Captain Seguin, your men will remain behind to guard the camp. Things will get confusing out there with men shooting any Mexican they see.

Juan Seguin: General Houston; you ordered me to stay here and I obeyed. This is our fight too.

Sam Houston: Very well. Join Sherman on the left.
