"The Banker" is adapted from a true story. In the 1950s, black entrepreneurs Bernard Garrett (played by McKay) and Joe Morris (played by Jackson) were subject to racial restrictions at the time and their career development was affected. They had no choice but to come up with a strange trick, hiring white Matt Steiner (Holt) to play the boss of the industrial empire they owned, while Garrett pretended to be the porter and Morris pretended to be the driver. In addition, Nia Long will play Garrett's wife in the film, and she will play a key role. But just as their industrial empire grows stronger, their tactics are in danger of being exposed
