Director Christophe Honoré brought the 17th-century novel "Princess Clive" to a modern French high school campus, adding a bit of classical poetry to the film.
The technique of the film seems to be calm, but the inexplicable audience will still indulge in it unconsciously. The setting of the triangular relationship and the love between teachers and students makes people feel the caution and excitement of walking alone at night. Director Honoré hides the emotional fluctuations of the characters in their subtle expressions and movements, and those sweet or sad details are often fleeting and fleeting.
The three leading actors are absolutely worthy of the name of the film "The Beautiful Person". Louis Garrel and Leplance-Lingay are all beautiful men, and Leia Seydoux is surprised by her versatility .
