Philip Marloweis a private investigator. He was invited to the home of Sternwoodon this day. Sternwood asked Marlowe to investigate about his daughter. When I started watching it, I found out that it was an adaptation of Chandler's "Long Sleep". That taste is gone, but it is already the best adaptation. The plot is extremely compact.
