"The Jacket" opens with the voice-over of the actor Jack, entering an atmosphere of memories. The fate and psychological development of the characters are based on the clues and behaviors that Jack discovers in the future and the present world. This travels through time and space. The causal loop processing method has been used in many movies. The film uses horror and spirituality to package emotions. The director actually wants to express the importance of love in life, with a bit of inspirational movie atmosphere. However, in order to pursue a novel narrative, the film also sacrifices a more layered character psychological portrayal and a more convincing science fiction plot. Several major actors performed well. The doctor played by Jennifer Jason Lee left a deep impression. Although Adrien Brody didn’t have much dialogue in the film, he used horrified eyes and distorted faces. The expression is in place to show Jack's helplessness and pain in the mental hospital
