The Son of No One movie plot

Young police detective Jonathan White has a small career and is transferred back to the 118th block where he grew up. Block 118 is a neighborhood where the poor live and has a high crime rate. One day, the district mayor received an anonymous letter alleging a murder many years ago. In the letter, Jonathan faces the threat of exposure for the murder he committed with his childhood friend Vincent Carter.
