I have watched two different films, "Our Girl (UK)" and "Tokyo Sonata", but they tell the same story - the same gloomy sky in the island country. From the stories of two little people, they tell the life of contemporary urbanites. of hope and despair. As always, Japanese movies are exquisite in workmanship. The plot is not procrastinated, but there are enough gaps for thinking and aftertaste...

The cruel reality-failure, struggle, struggle, failure, like an endless loop, haunting every little character body. It keeps breaking everyone's heart, and even destroying every family that can't bear it. But the protagonist, the Sasaki family—even though they were arrogant, hesitant, suspicious, and lost, in the end, they raised their heads and looked forward. In the endless night, I chose to wait for the dawn; in front of the boundless sea, I chose to turn back to the shore.

Maybe the little things in their lives have not changed a little. My mother is still my mother, a hard-working housewife, and my father still goes to the department store to clean up every day, and life still only meets the needs of basic food and clothing. But from the two sons, Agui and Kenji, the couple stumbled to believe that although they are not as happy now, there is still a "chance to come back"-this is also the theme of this film. More importantly, just believe this, it's not too late to start now!
