After reading half of it, quit. Can't help but want to comment. It was originally for SARAH and ELLEN, two actresses that I love. But the first 10 minutes made me impatient. Uncle Dennis is really good at acting. He made himself so much like LOSER that I couldn't expect any changes from this arrogant professor. Watching for another 10 minutes, the old-fashioned story shell will appear, the stagnant relationship between the widower and his children, the tortuous emotional line with the heroine, and even the quiet changes in his own understanding due to love in the future. . . OK, let's stop here, I really don't want to see a film that turns SARAH into a middle-aged single woman and ELLEN into a self-righteous high-scoring low-powered girl. That's it.
