Don't say goodbye to fairy tales

The age is increasing year by year, gradually saying goodbye to the past. Childhood seems to be a very distant thing, and fairy tales. It's just that childhood experiences often determine the recognition of personality and temperament, which indirectly affects the development of a person's life. Who can really say goodbye to it, no matter how old a person is, there is always a child in his heart, just as a little prank always makes people laugh. As for fairy tales, who doesn't expect "live happily ever after" in their hearts, throwing away those outdated simple plots, but their hearts have long been occupied by its essence.

For fairy tales, the most common saying is "children's stuff, naive". But open your eyes and take a look. The whole fairy tale talks about difficulties and sufferings, but at the end it mentions "happy life together". Whole books are teaching children how complicated and dangerous the world is: don’t talk to strangers and eat strangers’ stuff (Snow White); even relatives treat you badly be careful (Cinderella); don’t Neglecting powerful bad guys ("Sleeping Beauty"), there are many poor people in the world who have a hard time ("The Happy Prince")...just a little lie at the end. Faced with ninety-nine truths and one lie, the naive adult was easily deceived by that lie, how dare you say it was naive? We all know that those words are meant to coax children, and it is stupid to hold on to them. As for making children unprepared for the world, it's purely just worrying about it. The real reality is in front of us every day, especially in China, a "fairy tale" country. At the age when they should be prepared, who would be so easy to deal with the world? What about opening up? How bad would it be to not give them some "good" beliefs before they recognized the cruelty. In fact, fairy tales are not that weak. Generally speaking, it is bad now and will be good in the future. What is the difference between this and the government report that the primary stage of socialism will inevitably lead to the advanced stage?

I feel that fairy tales are just beliefs, and like all novels, do not have the function of a guide to action, nor the ability to instigate. The original fairy tale in my impression is to put children to sleep (it seems that the West is prevalent, and China has become a myth and legend). In the end, I tend to say, "Okay, that's the story, let's go to sleep." It is clear that a fairy tale is a story, the story is over, and reality has just begun. Like all fairy tales, when the prince and princess come together, it ends. The trivial quarrel that follows belongs to the category of TV dramas. Children watch it every day, so it's boring to talk about. It's just that reality is reality, but if there is no ideal, "what's the difference with salted fish"? Some people think that saying goodbye to simple and naive is to say goodbye to fairy tales. In fact, fairy tales are complicated. Just like all kinds of mental illnesses, they often have to find the cause from that "simple" childhood.

Hayao Miyazaki's film is a standard fairy tale, with fairy tale difficulties and a fairy tale ending. This ending can't even be a lie, it doesn't give the two children what they look like at 75, just the lips that are getting closer at the age of 5. This is a movie with a very naive plot, and the style of painting is also that of a child. Even the garbage in the water is surprisingly pure. The story is not really brilliant, but the various details of life are still moving. The child's cheerful laughter makes the corners of the mouth rise, which is pure joy. Even if the joy is performed, it achieves near-perfect purity with the pictures and music. It was a familiar laughter, probably everyone laughed like that a long time ago. Saying goodbye to childhood is actually still hidden in my heart.

The story is over, life goes on. Everyone knows that in life, the next few decades will not be smooth sailing for the two children. Ninety-nine percent of Princess Goldfish will turn into foam and return to the sea. But, I still believe that the princess in the movie can't. This is a fairy tale, and it should have a fairy tale ending.

A lot of times I don't understand the hot news, and simple games make them so complicated. I haven't been in contact with children for a long time, and I don't even know whether the rules of children's games are still simple. It's just that I still stubbornly believe that the future will be good, even if I don't have time to see that good future. Obviously this is the state of a fairy tale. But I think the history of mankind is also a fairy tale, the first nine chapters are dark and we are in the fourth chapter. So, this state is also normal. It will be fine in the future, no doubt about that.

Also, I have to point out that the soundtrack of this movie is so good, Joe Hisaishi really didn't cover it.
