A world propped up by men

Men seem to be strange creatures.
They never seem to grow up, they like group activities, they rarely have a generation gap, they seem to have few things to worry about, but they care about many things.
When they don't like you, they will imprison themselves in a small corner where they can't let you touch; when they like you, they can't wait to give you the whole world.

We always say that women are sensitive creatures, but we always see men as careless and heartless. Artie said to Dad, she-grandma-looks terrible, and Dad said, she misses her so much, and we all do. Who says missing is only for women?
When Artie beat his father, he said: it's all our fault, that fragile father, covering his face with clothes, tried hard not to let his emotions express. Harry asked his father in the bar why you were abandoning me and throwing me to a mother who didn't like me at all, and suddenly the world of men was a lot more complicated than I thought.

It's hard to imagine a world with only three men and no women. The middle-aged man who lost his wife, the young man who lost his sense of survival, and the funny child all have their own concerns. Mixed with sadness, grief, laughter and touching. In the end, they all went away with the convertible.

May no man's touch ever tame you. May no man's reigns ever chain you. And may no man's weight ever defrayed your soul.

The Boys Are Back quotes

  • Harry: [opening the car door] Wow, it's boiling!

Joe Warr: Oh, this is nothing. It's not proper summer here until the steering wheel's too hot to hold.

  • Joe Warr: I run a pretty loose ship. Basically I've found that the more rules there are, the more crimes are created. So, fewer rules. Fewer, but bigger rules. No interrupting adults...

    Harry: Why not?
