"Draft Day" easily reminds the audience of 2011's "Penalty Kick", the former is the football league and the latter is the professional baseball league, both tell the story of the competition behind the scenes of professional teams. But the film is completely fictitious. Although the film is full of masculinity and muscular masculinity, it has nothing to do with rugby. It is more about the story of how an awesome manager became a winner at the crossroads of career and life. The film focuses on using conflicts to show Sonny's extraordinary ability to deal with things, such as the scenes of negotiating with players. His negotiations are calm and firm, showing a professional manager's ease of dealing with crises, and finally making the players subdued. There are also many scenes in the negotiation, all showing Sonny's composure and coping with ease. All this makes the film more like a textbook for successful professional managers
