"A woman's love and a man's work are a dead end." This is the perception of the protagonist of the film. She is a woman with identity, status, and the love of three high-quality men at the same time, but none of them can put their love for her supreme. So she chose to give up, preferring to endure the loneliness of the rest of her life. On the day her husband became minister, she left him. Her current lover is a successful pianist, and she just wants to keep their relationship at an ambiguous stage. The former lover was a poet, but she did not want to turn her head back.
