Silver Guard 1 created an alternative movie style, but this one simply copied and enlarged the popular elements of the previous movie. The price was that the quality of the elements was uneven, and the plot and character settings were shrunk. The movie seemed to be a commercial element. Compressed biscuits, without overall awareness. The most full-blown character is actually Nebula? Yongdu selling cheap tears is enough, but I think it is more sensational that Master Gu Yi left silently. If the BOSS can't beat him, he will be disconnected.

Where the first part is outstanding, the second part basically has it. After three years of anticipation, it was discovered that the best role of Chris Pratt in the "blockbuster actor period" is still Star-Lord. The father-son relationship between Peter and Ego/Yondu, the sisterhood relationship between Nebula and Gamora, this one uses emotion as a support, which is easily moved. The expanded role of Kraglin is also useful. But in comparison, the misfit temperament of the first series feels better.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 quotes

Peter Quill: I told Gamora how when I was a kid I used to pretend David Hasselhoff was my dad. He's a singer and actor from Earth, really famous guy. Earlier, it struck me... Yondu didn't have a talking car, but he did have a flying arrow. He didn't have the beautiful voice of an angel, but he did have the whistle of one. Both Yondu and David Hasselhoff went on kick-ass adventures and hooked up with hot women, and fought robots... I guess David Hasselhoff did kind of end up being my dad after all. Only it was you, Yondu.
[tearing up]
Peter Quill: I had a pretty cool dad. What I'm trying to say here is... sometimes that *thing* you're searching for your whole life... is right there by your side all along. And you don't even know it.

Gamora: [hugging Nebula] You will always be my sister.
