If Sophia Coppola is going to use this film to pay tribute to Wong Kar-wai, then I can only say that her style and characteristics in this film are far from Wong Kar-wai's. Of course, Wong Kar-wai is indeed not something that everyone can imitate. Du Kefeng's iconic pan and oblique shot. The exquisiteness of the pictures in Wong Kar-wai's film: shallow focus, light, tone, soundtrack, the use of upgrades, and the poetic narration of the characters, all of which I have not seen in this film.
