On October 12, 2012, the BBC's "Doctor Who" official website released an animation set after "Angels Occupy Manhattan", which clearly revealed Rory and his wife in a four-and-a-half minute scene. What happened to Amy after she was sent back by the Weeping Angel also featured the character of Rory's father, Brian. The animation was written by Chris Chibnall but its content was not filmed for the TV series, and the animation's voiceover was voiced by Tom Darvill. Executive producer Caroline Skinner expressed a desire to use the poignant story to give the role of Rory's father Brian a proper ending
